Is Wealthy Affiliate a Scam or What?
My answer is no, Wealthy Affiliate is not a scam. Wealthy Affiliate taught me, in their step-by-step video training program, how to be a successful affiliate marketer. The website you’re on right now is one I built with my training from Wealthy Affiliate. I have several websites, another is www.PeopleLovingAnimals.com, that I’ve built with my training from Wealthy Affiliate.
Why Would People Think Wealthy Affiliate is a Scam?
Several reasons, frankly. One is that there are just a LOT of scams out there. And a lot of scams offering people training to “Get Rich Quick!” or “Make Money Online from Home” – but they just take people’s money and don’t offer any real training that actually results in the person making money online.
Another reason is because Wealthy Affiliate (like all the other affiliate marketing training programs available), offers a Free Starter Program, but then asks you to pay money for an upgraded Premium Membership in order to continue your training. I personally don’t see that as a scam. Why should we expect anyone to create an online, step-by-step video training program to teach us how to do affiliate marketing for free? So yes, they have the free starter program, but then they’ll be asking you to pay a membership fee in order to continue with your training.
A third reason that some people may think Wealthy Affiliate is a scam is because they teach you how to promote THEM. In their training, they teach you how to create a website around a topic/niche that you’re interested in. But they also have what’s called Affiliate Bootcamp Training, where they teach you how to build a website that promotes Wealthy Affiliate. Again, I personally don’t see this as a scam. They give incredible, awesome training in the Affiliate Bootcamp Training that I’ve been able to use to promote Wealthy Affiliate, but I’ve applied that same training to my own website and have had great success. And here’s a fine fact…they pay us an awesome commission for promoting Wealthy Affiliate!
So my opinion is clearly, no, Wealthy Affiliate is not a scam. Click on the video at the top of this article to hear more details, or click into any of the links at the top of this article to get more information. If you want to learn how to make money online, Wealthy Affiliate is the way to go.
