One of the owners of Wealthy Affiliate, Kyle, published a fantastic training called Accelerating Your Content Schedule. He followed it up with a detailed blog post called, How to Write Quicker & Scale Faster. Both are fantastic resources to learn how to speed up your content writing.
Writing Content for Websites
I’ve written posts and done videos in the past about content writing (I’ll link them at the end of this post), but I have to say Kyle takes it several steps further. When I started the training at Wealthy Affiliate back in 2015, I think Kyle said he’d already been making money online for more than 20 years. That was 7 years ago. So as far as I can tell, Kyle’s been doing this almost 30 years! Seriously…I’ll take his advice all day long.
Anyway…
Kyle’s class, Accelerating Your Content Schedule discusses a strategy and structured game plan you can use to publish a blog post each and every day on your website. You can take that training here. He said the training was met with excitement on one hand, and a sense of overwhelm on the other. The most common fear was, “What if I can’t write 7 blog posts per week?”
The fact is, you certainly don’t have to publish a post daily on your blog or website in order to be successful. There are many (tons) of blogs and websites out there that earn six figures or more by posting only ONE article per week.
But obviously it stands to reason that the more QUALITY content you post on your website, the more chances you have of being indexed and ranked in the search engines; particularly Google, Bing and Yahoo. So why not do more if you can (without killing yourself!)?
In his blog post, How to Write Quicker & Scale Faster, Kyle talks mostly about these two topics:
Improving Your Writing Organization: Kyle gives detailed information on how he runs his business, particularly how he comes up with content ideas and how he plans out his content schedule.
Improving Your Writing Speed by doing things such as:
1. Write (type) faster. Seriously, you can take a quick course online to accomplish this. I personally type 100+ words per minute and I can attest to how much a faster typing speed helps me with my content creation.
2. Dictate text-to-speech. There are inexpensive tools available to do this. This would certainly help if you’re a person who can’t really type at all or who communicates way better by talking instead of writing. You can see these on Amazon.
3. Hire help. Many affiliate marketers and entrepreneurs don’t even write their own content. They hire it done (which is way more affordable than you’d think). You can go to places like these to find qualified content writers:
Kyle gets into way more detail about how you can accomplish writing 7 posts per week in the blog post, How to Write Quicker & Scale Faster. I encourage you to check it out.
How to Speed Up Your Content Writing
The course, Accelerating Your Content Schedule, expands on the topic entirely by focusing on speeding up your content writing from two angles: being more efficient with your own content creation, and outsourcing the work to additional authors or agencies. The course consists of 12 classes that cover the following:
Tips for Amplifying Your Weekly Content Production
Full Q & A Session
In the course, Kyle even provides you with a printable weekly and monthly writing schedule – the same ones he uses in his own business.
You can click here to access the full course. The blog post I mentioned is free, but these types of super-packed courses are only available in Wealthy Affiliate’s Premium Membership. That membership is $49 per month (cheaper if you pay annually).
